Peter Richbell

BIOGRAPHY

Peter Richbell read Law at the Anglia Ruskin University winning the Sweet and Maxwell Law Prize during his time there also gaining practical experience as a volunteer Advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

He then undertook his practical training with a local solicitors firm later on accepting an invitation to join that firm as a Partner. During and beyond his initial training he developed a specialism for personal injury litigation involving frequent appearances to represent clients at Court.

He then decided to develop his specialism further and founded this firm 15 years ago since when he and the firm have worked exclusively representing injured accident victims in claims of wide ranges of severity and value. He is vastly experienced in all areas of personal injury claims representation and litigation.

He has lectured on these and other legal topics both academically to law degree undergraduates and to medical and general audiences. He has appeared on TV in connection with his cases which have also been covered in the press both nationally and locally.

Away from work, Peter Richbell is married with two adult children one a Veterinary Surgeon and one who works in the West End theatre. He has recently gained a grandchild. He enjoys watching professional sport, the theatre, reading, hill and country walking with his family, including his Labrador dog, “Gubby”.

Peter Richbell is a member of the Law Society and the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Professional Negligence and Personal Injury Panels, he is an accredited senior litigator member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, a life member of both Essex and Middlesex County Cricket Clubs and a QPR FC season ticket holder, in 2007 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
