After studying at the University of Mid-Glamorgan and the College of Law at Lancaster Gate in London Anthony Mitty qualified as a Solicitor in 1991 having always wanted to become a lawyer and work in the field of litigation. After qualifying and training Anthony worked locally, building up his experience and reputation in handling a varied litigation case load, including injury claims for both individuals and acting on behalf of insurance companies.
Since joining Peter Richbell & Co as a Partner 16 years ago Anthony has specialised in acting solely for accident victims for which he has built up a considerable amount of expertise. His work covers all types of claims of every value and he has appeared on television and radio to talk about his cases.
He is a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and holds the position of Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He was the Chairman of the Essex Medico-Legal Society and regularly organised meetings to educate and advise both doctors and lawyers on subjects of interest to both professions. He has also given talks on claims related subjects.
Outside of work, Anthony is a Governor of a local primary school and he enjoys watching and playing cricket, keeping fit at the gym, reading and spending as much time as he can with his family (having two young sons keeps him busy and on his toes!).
